Carbon Footprint and Communication Activities in the Work Plan

1, Q: Should an activity be dedicated to carbon footprint calculation within one of the thematic Work Packages (e.g. “project carbon footprint reduction and monitoring”) or is it sufficient to know and apply his requirement when implementing the project and not include it as a separated activity in the Work Plan?

A: The tool for carbon footprint (CFP) calculation is provided by the programme. The tasks consiste in organising the data entry and the monitoring. A reponsible for carbon footprint has to be appointed for each project. During the evaluation of the work plan it will be assessed if CFP calculation has been considered. It has been indicated that CFP monitoring must not be entered as a WP. The organisation in the context with the project activities (seperate avctivity or linked to other activities) is not regulated and part of the proposed project design.

2, Q: Is it necessary to include one dedicated activity for all communication activities in the Work Plan? Or should we contemplate several communication activities?

A: A separate communication WP must not be considered. Communication objectives have to be entered with each WP. Furthermore, communication activities should be highlighted within the work plan according to their contribution to the project implementation
