Specific questions for the 8th Call
- Would the absence of investments be assessed negatively under the “maturity” and “well-defined investments” sub-criteria of the Work Plan criterion?
- Can methodology-based operational pilots without physical works or equipment, meet the Call 8 requirements for Test projects?
- For the 8th call, within the Mission “Strengthening an Innovative Sustainable Economy”, a project addressing the topic “Reducing air pollution in the construction sector” could deliver solutions aimed at reducing carbon emissions (CO2) in the construction sector?
- Can Associated Partners contribute through professional exchange, stakeholder dialogue and future uptake of the tested model? What eligibility conditions apply to any project-supported participation costs or non-infrastructure activities involving them?
- Can a fisheries cooperative be a Project Partners under Call 08? Specifically, could an Italian fisheries consortium legally established as a cooperative company, participate as a full project partner?
- Is aquaculture explicitly considered an eligible sector under the Call 08 topic “Reducing water pollution in the agri-food sector”?

- First level control: Is there a mandatory or recommended percentage of each partner’s budget that should be allocated to First-Level Control? Should these costs be included under external expertise and services and linked to a specific deliverable?
- The ToR states that the Lead Partner must be a public body or a body governed by public law as defined in Directive 2014/24/EU. Is a public limited company considered a public body? Is there any documentation the Programme would require to prove the LP status at application stage?
- Can a micro-enterprise or sole trader (a natural person, not a legal entity) be a Project Partner in an Interreg Euro-MED project? If not, can it be an Associated Partner? If so, what legal status documents are required for the partner’s national validation? What specific conditions apply to this status (financial capacity, co-financing, State aid / de minimis)?
