Can an organisation legally based outside the cooperation area of the Interreg Euro-MED Programme, but which depends on one of the 14 States of the Programme, be a project partner and benefit, as such, from a funding from the Programme?

A structure legally based in a Region outside the cooperation area of the Interreg Euro-MED Programme (69 eligible regions) but which depends on one of the 14 States of the Interreg Euro-MED Programme (e.g. structures located in Lille, Paris, Porto, Santander, etc) can be a partner co-financed by the Programme (it cannot be a lead partner). Please refer to the section on partnership eligibility in the Programme Manual (Chapter I. B. Building my partnership).

Thus, a structure relevant to the partnership can be based in Coimbra and benefit, as a partner and not as a lead partner, from funding by the Programme (subject to the respect of the other eligibility rules).
