In principle, an organisation based in an EU Member State but outside the Interreg Euro-MED Programme’s cooperation area may participate in a project under Call 08. Such participation is subject to two conditions: firstly, the proposed activities must bring added value to the Programme’s cooperation area; and secondly, the national or regional authority responsible for Interreg programmes in their country must give its approval. It is therefore recommended that the partner based outside Interreg Euro-MED cooperation zone consults its competent authority.
Furthermore, as this country is not located within the Interreg Euro-MED Programme’s cooperation area, this specific partner cannot be counted towards the minimum number of partners required by the call for proposals. As a reminder, the partnership must comprise at least five eligible partners located within the Programme’s cooperation area.
