I represent Local action group “South Istria”, NGO from Croatia (Istria Region). We find this topic very interesting and we would like to join the consortium because we share same needs and problems.
Our territory is also very vulnerable when it comes to water supplies. Due to climate change dry periods of droughts are longer and longer while water needs are large. Intense tourism, use of chemicals in agriculture, so as landfills and wild waste dumps are severely impacting quality of groundwater in this area.

    Dear miss Lazzaroni,

I represent Local action group “South Istria”, NGO from Croatia (Istria Region). We find your idea about sustainable agronomic solutions very interesting and we would be happy to join the consortium.

Area of south Istria is rich with olive grows and vine grows and has a large number of potential stake holders and target groups interested in this topic. Tree crops from olive trees and vine trees are mostly treated as waste and purposeless residues. Having in mind the need of switching to green and sustainable agronomic solutions and actions, the use of tree crops represents excellent option to gain additional benefits for healthy biodiversity and sustainable environment.

Based on everything said, we would be glad to participate on this project.

    Dear Conceiçao,

I represent Local action group “South Istria”, NGO from Croatia (Istria Region). We find your idea very interesting and we would like to join the consortium.
Our territory is also very vulnerable when it comes to water supplies. During last couple of years, we have noticed severe signes of climate change on our territory manifesting through long periods of severe lack of water and drought. In order to cope with this problem we need to create sustainable solutions for water management and irrigation. This area has always had culture of building wells and collecting water in farm dams which both became forgotten and are out of use.
We have big number of local farmers sharing this problem so there is a large circle of potential stake holders and target groups interested in this topic.
Based on everything said, we would be glad to participate on this project.
