PARTNER SEARCH – INTERREG EURO-MED CALL 7 and CALL 8

I am reaching out to you on behalf of the Regional Development Agency of Karlovac County, Croatia, to express our interest in joining future EU-funded projects as a project partner.
The Agency has extensive experience in the preparation and implementation of EU-funded projects, particularly in the fields of tourism, sustainable tourism, the valorisation of natural and cultural heritage, rural development and sustainable regional development.

We have particular experience in Interreg programmes, having participated as a project partner in projects such as EXCOVER, AcquaGuard, EcoFoodCycle and GUSTI. Our experience covers the development of sustainable tourism products, sustainable regional development, stakeholder cooperation and cross-border collaboration.

We are interested in joining new project consortia as a partner and can contribute our expertise in project development and implementation, cooperation with local and regional stakeholders, pilot activities, as well as communication and dissemination of project results.

Dear Mr. Sanabria,

I came across your proposal “Platform for the Promotion of Agricultural Tourism in the EUROMED Area” on the Interreg Euro-MED Sustainable Tourism forum, and I believe there is a very strong potential for cooperation with Jordan.

I represent Seeds Foundation – Jordan, a non-profit organisation working with youth and rural communities and chairing the National Land Coalition – Jordan, a multi-stakeholder platform connecting civil society, public institutions, research actors and local communities.

Through this network, we work directly with rural, agricultural, pastoral and Badia communities across different parts of Jordan. This could offer the project a distinctive Southern Mediterranean pilot environment for developing and testing:

community-based agritourism and ecotourism experiences;
pastoral and desert tourism routes;
visits to farms, local producers and rural enterprises;
youth- and women-led tourism initiatives;
promotion of local products, food traditions and cultural heritage;
training for community tourism providers;
digital promotion and mapping of rural tourism experiences.

We are particularly interested in contributing as a Jordanian pilot, community implementation and replication partner.

Before sending our full partner profile, may I ask under which current Interreg call/programme you are developing the proposal, and whether participation from Jordan is envisaged as a full project partner, an associated partner, or through a possible Interreg NEXT MED framework?

Dear Team,
I am contacting you on behalf of the Municipality of Vau Dejës, Albania, after reviewing your project concept on the development of an integrated and sustainable agritourism model in the Euro-MED area.
We found the concept highly relevant to our territory, particularly its focus on agritourism and ecotourism, thematic tourism routes, local farms and producers, digital tools, training, sustainable tourism experiences and cross-border cooperation.
As the original forum post predates the current call, I would first like to ask whether this concept is currently being developed, adapted or considered for Interreg Euro-MED Call 7 – MMM Sustainable Tourism.
If so, the Municipality of Vau Dejës, a local public authority from Albania, an IPA country participating in the Interreg Euro-MED cooperation area, would be very interested in exploring participation as an IPA Project Partner / Receiving Territory.
Vau Dejës combines rural and mountain villages, agricultural areas, local producers, traditional gastronomy and crafts, natural and cultural heritage, the Vau Dejës–Koman lake area and the Drin River, providing a suitable environment for transferring and testing sustainable agritourism solutions.
We are particularly interested in connecting local producers, rural households, gastronomy, crafts and tourism experiences, supported by thematic routes and digital tools, while strengthening the role of local communities in sustainable destination development.
As a local public authority, we could support stakeholder engagement, identification of farms and local producers, mapping of tourism assets and routes, pilot implementation, testing of transferred solutions, capacity building and institutional uptake into municipal tourism development practices.
If you are currently preparing a proposal for Call 7 and still looking for an IPA municipality / receiving territory, we would be pleased to discuss our possible participation.
Given the short timeframe before the deadline, I am fully available for direct communication by email and can respond promptly. The Municipality is ready to provide institutional information, partner documentation and Application Form inputs at short notice.
If the proposal is active, we would appreciate receiving any available Concept Note, together with information on the selected MMM output(s), Lead Partner, current consortium, envisaged role and indicative budget for a receiving municipality.
