The- Environmental Economist research group at the University of Ferrara is looking to join an existing consortium as a project partner for the Interreg Euro-MED Call 8.
We are particularly interested in projects under the Innovative Sustainable Economy missions.

Our research group, within the Department of Economics and Management, has a strong focus on innovation, green transition, circular economy, stakeholder engagement and cooperation with businesses and public institutions.
We have extensive experience in the implementation of EU-funded projects supported by Horizon Europe, Erasmus+ and other international initiatives.

We are currently involved in an Interreg Euro-MED ongoing project where we are mapping and analysing bioeconomy businesses and collaborative spaces across participating Mediterranean territories. Our contribution includes survey-based data collection, the development of comparative indicators and the assessment of regional entrepreneurial ecosystems. We also organize the Bioeconomy Start-Up Creation Lab, a training programme supporting sustainable entrepreneurship through modules on innovation, circular economy and bioeconomy, market analysis, business models and financial planning.

As a project partner, we can contribute to training activities on green and digital skills, stakeholder engagement, capacity building and dissemination of project results. Our key expertise includes environmental and innovation policy analysis, survey design and quantitative methods, assessment of barriers and incentives to adopting sustainable practices, and analysis of business and consumer behaviour. These competences can support the monitoring and evaluation of pilot activities and the development of recommendations for their uptake and transfer to other territories.

We are particularly interested in joining a consortium that already has a project concept and is looking for an Italian higher education institution to contribute to project implementation.

Please feel free to contact us to discuss potential cooperation for Call 8
