Seeking Partners for Sustainable Tourism in Protected Coastal Areas

We are currently looking for organisations that are interested in joining a consortium for an Interreg Euro-MED MMM Call 07 (Sustainable Tourism) with experiences related to Management of protected coastal and marine areas; Sustainable tourism development in coastal destinations; Destination governance and stakeholder participation.
We particularly welcome:
Protected area authorities and marine protected area managers;
Regional and local public authorities related to MPA;
Destination Management Organisations (DMOs);
Tourism boards and tourism development agencies;
Regional development agencies;
The project will focus on protected coastal and biodiversity-rich Mediterranean destinations, aiming to strengthen local governance, community participation and integration of conservation objectives into tourism development.

we are an NGO based on island Murter, working on area of Murter- Kornati Municipality, the municipality that consists of more than 200 islands, islets and reefs. National Park Kornati is in our area, and we have more than 20 years of experience in sustainable tourism development. I would like to send you portfolio of our previous work, not only in Interreg projects, but also other EU financed projects, related to tourism in protected areas. Our work also focuses on engaging and connecting local stakeholders and contributing to local policy development and decision-making.
