Jose LuqueParticipantDear Interreg Euro-MED community,
We are Fundación TECNOVA, a Spanish Agri-food Technology Centre based in Almería (Andalusia), specialising in applied research, technological innovation and knowledge transfer across the agri-food value chain.
We are currently looking to join a consortium as a project partner (not as lead partner) for the 8th Interreg Euro-MED Call, under the Innovative Sustainable Economy priority.
Our main areas of expertise include:
– Sustainable agriculture and climate adaptation: resilient production systems, sustainable crop management, biological solutions and resource efficiency.
– Water efficiency and smart irrigation: irrigation optimisation, fertigation, water monitoring and sustainable water management in Mediterranean agriculture.
– Circular economy and bioeconomy: valorisation of agricultural and agri-food by-products, waste reduction and development of innovative bio-based solutions.
– Digital agriculture and AgriTech: precision agriculture, IoT, artificial intelligence, sensor technologies, robotics and data-driven decision-support systems.
– Agri-food innovation: development, testing and validation of innovative food technologies, processes and sustainable products. Our experience in European projects includes:
– BioSolUDOE (Interreg Sudoe 2021–2027, ongoing): development and validation of integrated crop protection strategies based on biosolutions through transnational Living Labs.
– AgriDataValue (Horizon Europe): development of innovative agro-environmental data solutions to support sustainable and data-driven agriculture.
– agROBOfood (Horizon 2020): promotion of robotics and digital innovation across the European agri-food sector. What can TECNOVA bring to your consortium?
We can contribute technical expertise, applied R&D activities, pilot testing and demonstration, technology validation, stakeholder engagement, and knowledge transfer.
Our strong connections with agricultural producers, technology companies and other stakeholders in Almería provide valuable opportunities to engage the agri-food sector in practical innovation and demonstration activities.
We are particularly interested in projects addressing Mediterranean sustainability challenges, climate resilience, resource efficiency, circular economy and the green and digital transition of the agri-food sector.
If you are developing a project proposal and looking for a Spanish technical partner, we would be pleased to explore potential synergies and discuss opportunities for collaboration.
We look forward to connecting with potential partners!
Kind regards,
Jose Luque
