Dear Team,
I am contacting you on behalf of the Municipality of Vau Dejës, Albania, following your message on the Interreg Euro-MED Partner Forum regarding the upcoming Call 7 – MMM Sustainable Tourism.
We are currently looking to join a strong consortium as an IPA Project Partner / Receiving and Pilot Territory, and I believe there could be interesting complementarities between Vau Dejës and the Italian public authorities and territorial organisations you are supporting.
Vau Dejës is a diverse rural and inland municipality combining the Vau Dejës–Koman lake area and Drin River, mountain and rural villages, natural landscapes, cultural and religious heritage, local traditions, gastronomy, agricultural products and crafts.
We are particularly interested in the transfer and adaptation of existing MMM solutions related to sustainable rural and nature tourism, cultural and religious routes, local food and gastronomy, digital/smart tourism, sustainable destination management and visitor mobility.
As a receiving territory, the Municipality can support stakeholder engagement, territorial testing and pilot activities, involvement of local businesses and communities, adaptation of transferred solutions and their institutional uptake into municipal tourism and development policies.
We would be very interested in understanding which Italian territories and organisations you are currently supporting for Call 7 and whether there could be an opportunity to develop or join a common proposal.
In particular, it would be useful to know whether you have already identified any MMM good practice/output for transfer, Specific Objective, potential Lead Partner and emerging consortium.
