Aleksandar BundaloParticipantHello everyone,
I would like to introduce NEŠTO VIŠE, a civil society organisation from Bosnia and Herzegovina interested in joining one or more consortia under Interreg Euro-MED Call 8 as a pilot and implementation partner.
Rather than proposing a predefined project concept, we would like to offer our existing capacities for testing and implementing innovative solutions in real-life conditions.
NEŠTO VIŠE owns and manages an 11,000 m² permaculture and training estate near Mostar, already used for practical environmental and agricultural activities. The site includes rainwater collection, water purification and microclimate monitoring infrastructure, making it suitable for testing solutions related to resource efficiency, sustainable agriculture and water management.
We also manage SJEMENČICA, a seed bank with around 2,000 local and autochthonous seed entries, and the Facebook community “Ja sadim a ti” with more than 20,000 members, providing strong access to gardeners, citizens and local food producers.
We are particularly interested in cooperation related to:
sustainable and resilient agri-food systems
water efficiency and water reuse
reduction of pollution from agriculture and food production
circular use of resources and bio-waste
regenerative agriculture and agrobiodiversity
testing and demonstration of innovative solutions in real conditions
community and end-user engagementNEŠTO VIŠE can provide a ready pilot location, local stakeholder mobilisation, field implementation, training, citizen participation and dissemination.
We are currently looking to connect with Lead Partners, technical partners and consortia preparing proposals for Call 8.
Our tailored Euro-MED Partner Profile and organisational portfolio are available upon request.

Julia ChernetskyParticipantDear Mr Bundalo,
Boreal Light (Berlin) produces solar-powered systems that treat saline, brackish and polluted water for irrigation and drinking. We are looking for pilot sites for a Call 8 consortium.
Before proposing anything: what water source do you use at your estate near Mostar, and do you face any quality problems with it (salinity, pollution, contamination)? If so, a joint pilot could make sense.

Jose LuqueParticipantDear Julia and colleagues,
We are reaching out on behalf of Fundación TECNOVA, a Spanish Technology Centre based in Almería (Andalusia), specialising in applied R&D, innovation and technology transfer in the agri-food sector.
We have followed with great interest the discussions regarding innovative water treatment technologies, wastewater reuse and sustainable agricultural applications within the Interreg Euro-MED framework.
We believe TECNOVA could contribute valuable complementary expertise to a potential consortium, particularly in the agricultural application, pilot testing and validation of innovative water treatment and reuse solutions.
Our potential contributions include:
– Assessment and validation of treated water for agricultural irrigation.
– Pilot testing under Mediterranean agricultural conditions, particularly in intensive horticulture.
– Smart irrigation, IoT technologies and digital monitoring of water use and crop performance.
– Evaluation of environmental sustainability, resource efficiency and circular water management.
– Knowledge transfer, stakeholder engagement and replication of innovative solutions.TECNOVA also has experience in European collaborative projects, including:
– BioSolUDOE (Interreg Sudoe 2021–2027, ongoing): developing and demonstrating integrated crop protection strategies based on biosolutions through transnational Living Labs, with TECNOVA actively involved in horticultural experimentation, monitoring and validation.
– AgriDataValue (Horizon Europe): promoting the digital transformation of agriculture through interoperable agro-environmental data and smart decision-support solutions.
– agROBOfood (Horizon 2020): fostering the adoption of robotics and digital technologies across European agri-food value chains. Our location in Almería, one of Europe’s major intensive horticultural production areas, provides an excellent context for testing innovative solutions addressing water scarcity, resource efficiency and sustainable agriculture.
We would be very interested in exploring the possibility of participating as a technical project partner, rather than as lead partner, contributing our expertise in agricultural validation and technology transfer.
If you are currently preparing an Interreg Euro-MED proposal or forming a consortium, we would be pleased to receive further information and discuss potential collaboration.
Kind regards,
Jose Luque
