As Chamber of Commerce & Industry of Pyrénées Orientales in south of France, we’re looking for partners in Italy – Slovenia – Croatia – Greec – Spain – Malta – Montenegro for port authority/marine biology/research institute/university/marine biology institute on 3 differents topics, such as :

Proposal 1 — Mediterranean Demonstrator for Port Ecological Restoration through Biomimetic 3D-Printed Infrastructures
    Alignment with Call 08
Mission Natural Heritage (S.O. 2.7) — Ecosystem Restoration priority: concrete on-the-ground interventions delivering measurable ecological improvements, implementation of restoration-related legislation and plans, and integration of ecological connectivity into the design of restoration actions.
    Concept
The project will deploy a full-scale demonstrator of biomimetic, 3D-printed concrete infrastructures designed to restore biodiversity and ecological functions in degraded port and coastal areas across the Mediterranean. Low-carbon additive manufacturing (3D-printed concrete) is used to produce reef-like structures that mimic natural rocky and reef habitats, offering settlement surfaces for marine flora and fauna while remaining compatible with port operational constraints. The demonstrator combines technical innovation, environmental monitoring and scientific coordination, with results designed to feed directly into port and coastal-management policies.

Proposal 2 — Microplastics Monitoring in Natural Environments with IoT-Piloted Sampling
    Alignment with Call 08
Mission Innovative Sustainable Economy (S.O. 1.1 / 2.6) — Sustainable and innovative production and consumption practices, with a direct focus on reducing water plastic pollution, and contributing measurably to the EU Zero Pollution for Air, Water and Soil Action Plan.
    Concept
The project will deploy and validate a network of microplastics-monitoring stations in natural water bodies (rivers, coastal and marine waters), combining Plastic@sea’s environmental analytical methods with Hydracom’s IoT-based piloting and remote-monitoring technology for automated, continuous sampling. The approach is designed to support compliance with EU Directive 2020/2184 on the quality of water intended for human consumption and its Delegated Decision (EU) 2024/1441 on microplastics monitoring methodology, providing territorial authorities with a replicable, cost-efficient monitoring tool and supporting evidence-based water-pollution-reduction policies.

Proposal 3 — Atmospheric Water Generation Unit for the Agri-Food Sector
    Alignment with Call 08
Mission Innovative Sustainable Economy (S.O. 2.6) — Reducing water pollution and water stress in the agri-food sector through innovative, sustainable production practices and diversification of water resources.
    Concept
The project will pilot Alliance Industrie’s atmospheric water generation unit, capable of producing up to 10,000 litres of water per day from ambient humidity, as an autonomous and remotely pilotable solution for agri-food operators facing water scarcity or supply-quality constraints. The pilot will assess the technology’s operational performance, energy autonomy and integration into agri-food production chains, with a view to reducing pressure on conventional groundwater and surface-water resources and offering territories a resilient, decentralised water-supply alternative.

    Best regards,
