Milena SokolovaParticipantDear Mili,
Thank you for sharing your proposal. Our team at the University of Basilicata is seeking an Interreg Euro-MED consortium and would be interested in discussing a partnership.Together with National Research Center of Sassari, we successfully completed the national CRITERIA project, combining ecosystem service mapping and economic valuation with wildfire modelling to assess potential impacts on ecosystem services. We could contribute expertise in ecosystem service valuation, spatial analysis, stakeholder participation and the evaluation of management scenarios.
We would welcome a discussion on how these contributions could fit your consortium and pilot activities.
Best,
Milena and Mario

Ana BarkovićParticipantThe Karlovac County Firefighting Association (VZKŽ), Croatia, is interested in joining a consortium for Interreg Euro-MED Call 8.
VZKŽ is the county-level coordinating body for firefighting in Karlovac County, bringing together volunteer and professional fire brigades. Our work includes wildfire prevention and preparedness, operational coordination, training, exercises and cooperation with local authorities and civil protection stakeholders.
For a project focused on post-fire forest restoration, we could contribute operational expertise and help connect ecosystem restoration approaches with practical wildfire-risk reduction and community preparedness.
We hope our experience and regional firefighting network could complement your project consortium.
