NEXUS, the European Projects and Innovation Hub of the Andalusian Public Company for Tourism and Sport, the Regional Tourism Organisation of the Government of Andalusia, was created to position Andalusia in European initiatives that are shaping the future of tourism: smarter destinations, data-driven decision-making, sustainability and emerging tourism segments.

As one of Europe’s leading tourism destinations, Andalusia offers a unique real-scale environment to test, validate and scale innovative solutions. Through NEXUS, we bring to EU consortia a strong combination of institutional capacity, destination knowledge, stakeholder access and hands-on implementation experience.

Our contribution can add value in areas such as:
– Smart Data and Tourism Intelligence for evidence-based decision-making.
– Tourism Data Spaces, interoperability and digital transformation.
– Sustainable destination management, climate resilience and green transition.
– Living Labs, pilots and validation of innovative solutions in real destination environments.
– Analysis and development of emerging tourism segments.
– Stakeholder engagement with public authorities, SMEs, universities, technology providers and tourism operators.
– Communication, dissemination and exploitation of project results.

The Andalusian Public Company for Tourism and Sport has already participated in several European projects under programmes such as Digital Europe, EISMEA, Interreg POCTEP and Interreg MED. This experience reflects our capacity to contribute to projects focused on tourism data spaces, digital innovation, capacity building, sustainable destination management, blue economy, cycling tourism, cross-border cooperation and Mediterranean tourism models.

For future proposals, we would like to make clear that NEXUS participates exclusively as Project Partner. This allows us to focus on where we can generate the greatest value: technical contribution, destination-based validation, stakeholder mobilisation and impact generation.

Feel IQM is a Croatian company specialized in integrated destination quality management and sustainable tourism development. Through our IQM Destination model, we work with tourism boards, local and regional authorities, destination organizations, and a broad network of tourism SMEs and other local stakeholders in Croatia and Montenegro.

Our work includes destination management, development and monitoring of destination KPIs, visitor satisfaction and online reputation measurement, tourism product development, stakeholder engagement, capacity building, quality standards, digital and marketing assessments, as well as monitoring and evaluation of tourism performance.

Thank you for presenting your profile and areas of expertise. We believe there is strong potential for cooperation with the Museum of Herzegovina Trebinje, a public cultural institution from Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The Museum is internationally oriented and strategically committed to the contemporary valorisation of cultural heritage and its stronger integration into sustainable tourism and destination development. We are currently implementing two EU-funded projects in the field of cultural tourism, with activities related to heritage interpretation, visitor management, digitalisation, accessibility and inclusion, community engagement, and the sustainable valorisation of cultural and archaeological sites.
We are particularly interested in cooperation around smart and sustainable tourism, digital transformation, tourism intelligence, visitor-flow management, data-supported destination management, innovative interpretation of cultural heritage, Living Lab approaches, and the development and testing of new tourism experiences in real destination environments.
We believe that the Museum of Herzegovina Trebinje and the wider Herzegovina area could provide an interesting pilot and transfer territory for solutions combining cultural heritage, digital innovation, sustainability and destination management.

My name is Arianna, and I am writing on behalf of GAL La Cittadella del Sapere, a Local Action Group (LAG) based in Basilicata, Southern Italy, committed to promoting sustainable local development and enhancing the economic, social, cultural and tourism potential of rural and inland areas.

GAL La Cittadella del Sapere is interested in joining partnerships and project proposals within the Mediterranean Multi-Programme Mechanism (MMM) Coordinated Call 7 on Sustainable Tourism and is available to participate as a project partner.

The LAG works in close cooperation with local authorities, businesses, communities and other territorial stakeholders to support rural development, sustainable tourism, local entrepreneurship and the enhancement of the natural, cultural and religious heritage of Basilicata.

Our main areas of expertise and strengths include:
– In-depth knowledge of rural and inland territories and their development needs and opportunities;
– Experience in facilitating cooperation among public authorities, private stakeholders and local communities;
– Capacity to enhance rural, cultural, natural and religious heritage as strategic assets for sustainable territorial development;
– Strong relationships with municipalities, local communities and businesses, supporting the effective implementation and dissemination of project activities and results.

We are particularly interested in project topics related to:
– Religious and spiritual tourism, including the development and enhancement of pilgrimage routes and religious and cultural heritage;
– Rural development and sustainable rural tourism, with particular attention to villages, local communities, traditions, landscapes and local products;
– The development of an integrated and sustainable tourism itinerary connecting the Ionian and Tyrrhenian coasts of Basilicata, linking coastal destinations with rural and inland areas and enhancing the region’s natural, cultural and religious heritage.

Within the MMM framework, GAL La Cittadella del Sapere would welcome the opportunity to contribute to project proposals addressing these topics and to cooperate with Mediterranean organisations in the development of sustainable and transferable tourism models.
