NALAS – Network of Associations of Local Authorities of South-East Europe is a regional network bringing together 14 local government associations from 12 economies, representing over 7,000 municipalities and 80 million citizens.
Our network covers Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Kosovo, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia and Türkiye.
NALAS brings extensive experience in climate resilience, green transition, sustainable urban development, water management, social inclusion, municipal capacity building and EU-funded projects.
Through our member associations, we offer access to municipalities across South-East Europe and can mobilise local governments as pilot partners to test innovative solutions, implement demonstration activities and support replication and scaling up of project results.
With strong regional outreach, established knowledge-sharing platforms and extensive experience in transnational cooperation, NALAS can bring valuable local government expertise, pilot municipalities and a strong replication network to Interreg Euro-MED partnerships.
