With the ambition to become climate neutral by 2050 the Municipality of Arezzo (Tuscany Region-Italy) is promoting and implementing several green transition initiatives. The Municipality of Arezzo is a member of the Covenant of Mayors and of the EUROCITIES network. Its Council has approved the updated Sustainable Energy and Climate Action Plan (SECAP) including the new 2030-2050 global and European climate-neutrality goals. It has signed the Green City Accord commitments and is preparing for its implementation. Il has recently prepared several EU proposals under several programs to get EU support in realizing its green transition concrete actions that is undertaking.
