Our team at the University of Basilicata (Italy) is interested in joining an existing consortium as a partner or exploring opportunities to jointly develop a project proposal under Interreg Euro-MED Call 8.
Our team has experience in national and regional research projects, including CRITERIA, Tech4You, and Agritech, focusing on ecosystem services assessment, environmental sustainability, wildfire risk and its impact on ecosystem services, and territorial management.
Our potential contribution:
1. Economic valuation of ecosystem services.
2. Biophysical assessment of ecosystem services.
3. GIS-based spatial analysis and mapping.
4. Environmental and socio-economic assessment – evaluating environmental benefits and their economic implications.
5. Stakeholder preferences and engagement – investigating stakeholder perspectives and preferences to support sustainable management.
6. Scenario analysis and evaluation of management strategies.
7. Wildfire risk and ecosystem service impact assessment – integrating wildfire hazard modelling with ecosystem service assessments.
8. Decision-support for sustainable land and natural resource management – translating scientific findings into information useful for planning and management.
