The Municipality of Makrakomi, in the Region of Central Greece, is looking to join an Interreg Euro-MED Call 8 consortium as a project partner (not Lead Partner), under the Natural Heritage mission (SO 2.7).
What we offer:
– A potential pilot territory in the Sperchios River area, suitable for biodiversity protection, ecosystem monitoring and nature-based solutions
– Institutional anchoring at local level, so that pilot results can be integrated into municipal policy and practice
– Engagement of local residents, associations and schools
We are particularly interested in consortia working on ecosystem restoration, river and riparian ecosystems, or biodiversity monitoring that need a Greek local partner with a pilot territory.
Our participation is subject to technical feasibility, necessary authorisations and approval by the competent municipal body.
