Giacomo AndreaniParticipantExpirit S.r.l. SB – Benefit Corporation is an Italian destination management and marketing company based in Macerata, in the Marche Region, specialising in the sustainable tourism development and enhancement of small towns, rural areas, inland territories and emerging destinations.
Expirit works alongside public authorities, local communities, tourism operators, associations and territorial networks throughout the whole destination development process: from territorial analysis and participatory planning to destination strategy and governance, experience design, capacity building, communication, digitalisation and tourism product development.
A distinctive feature of Expirit is its ability to transform local cultural, natural and productive heritage into innovative tourism experiences and thematic products, combining territorial identity with sustainability and market-oriented approaches. Its areas of expertise include cycling and outdoor tourism, literary and book-induced tourism, film-induced tourism, experiential tourism, intangible cultural heritage, local traditions and craftsmanship, food and wine tourism and the valorisation of quality and geographical indication products (including PGI/IGP).
Expirit has developed experience in designing thematic itineraries and tourism experiences inspired by literature and cinema and in creating tourism products and networks involving local businesses, cultural actors and communities. Its approach is particularly focused on community engagement, sustainable destination management and the economic and social revitalisation of lesser-known territories.
Expirit is interested in joining European and international cooperation partnerships, both as a technical partner and as a contributor to pilot actions and territorial activities.
We can bring to international consortia our expertise in destination management, sustainable and experiential tourism, cycling tourism, cultural and creative tourism, intangible heritage, food heritage, community engagement, capacity building, tourism product development, territorial storytelling and dissemination, as well as access to Italian territories, municipalities, tourism operators and local stakeholder networks with which we regularly cooperate.
We are particularly interested in partnerships aimed at testing and transferring innovative models for sustainable tourism, diversification of tourism flows, enhancement of cultural and territorial identities, development of thematic tourism products, regeneration of rural and inland areas and strengthening of local tourism ecosystems.Contacts: giacomo.andreani@expirit.it
