Eda – Enterprise Development Agency (Bosnia and Herzegovina) is registered as an NGO and has more than 25 years of experience in project design and implementation in the area of SME support, local and regional economic development. Our experiences, references, and acquired credibility can contribute to better design and implementation of relevant projects. Eda is interested in cooperation within the Call, where it can be a reliable, proactive, and creative partner, with strong administrative capacities.

We would like to contribute to the design, and implementation of projects related to enterprise development with a focus on their innovations, digital and green transformation, sustainability, networking, and fostering cooperation between innovations-related stakeholders (SMEs, education and R&D institutions, etc.), promoting resource-efficient and sustainable economy.

For the past 25 years, Eda has been designing and implementing projects focused on development of local communities and development of SMEs, working on the creation and application of needed knowledge necessary implementation of projects fostering innovations and job creation through different support measures, such as regional and national policy development, testing and transferring innovative solutions, technical support, training, voucher programs, grant funds, and networking. The experience we have gained allows us a deep understanding of the local context and hidden factors that enable or inhibit the success of development projects. Working with many decision-makers and practitioners from governments, educational institutions, and SMEs we have earned trust and a reputation, which make one of the most important segments of our intangible assets. Eda is one of the members of the Digital Innovation Hub IDEMO that is focused on creating a stimulating business environment that will enable the digital transformation of SMEs from the wood and metal processing sector (as two most export-oriented industrial sectors in BiH) with the support of ICT as a supporting industry.

Eda has proven administrative capacity for the implementation of EU-funded projects (list of references: https://edabl.org/projects/ ). Eda employs a full-time team of 10 experts with complementary knowledge and experience. Additionally, Eda has built a network of over 30 experts with whom we engage on a project basis.
