Dear Team,
I am contacting you on behalf of the Municipality of Vau Dejës, Albania, following your message on the Interreg Euro-MED Sustainable Tourism Partner Forum regarding cooperation on tourism diversification based on agriculture, religious heritage and rural development.
The Municipality of Vau Dejës is a local public authority from Albania and we are currently seeking to participate in Interreg Euro-MED Call 7 – MMM Sustainable Tourism as an IPA Project Partner / Receiving and Pilot Territory.
Your proposed areas of cooperation are particularly relevant to our territory. Vau Dejës combines rural and mountain areas, agricultural production and local products, gastronomy, traditional villages, cultural and religious heritage, as well as the Vau Dejës–Koman lake area and the Drin River.
We would therefore be very interested to know whether the Ministry of Tourism of Andalusia is currently developing or participating in a proposal under Call 7, and whether there could be an opportunity for the Municipality of Vau Dejës to join the emerging partnership as an Albanian IPA receiving territory.
If a proposal is currently under preparation, we would appreciate any information you could share regarding the selected MMM output(s), project concept, Lead Partner, current partnership composition and potential role for Vau Dejës.
