Isabella MarangoniParticipantThe City of Venice is seeking partnership opportunities under the Green Living Areas Mission (SO 2.7) of Interreg Euro-MED Call 8.
Venice is particularly interested in projects addressing urban resilience, nature-based solutions, urban regeneration, green infrastructure and climate adaptation. The current city administration is strongly committed to maintaining vibrant and liveable historic neighbourhoods, increasing urban greenery through depaving and tree-planting initiatives, improving public spaces and promoting neighbourhood revitalisation through culture, sport and community-based activities.
As a unique Mediterranean historic city facing environmental, climate and demographic challenges, Venice can offer valuable pilot areas, strong experience in European cooperation projects and expertise in integrated urban development, stakeholder engagement and public policy implementation. The city has extensive experience in EU-funded projects and is interested in contributing both as a pilot city and as an active project partner.
We would be pleased to connect with coordinators or partnerships currently developing project ideas under the Green Living Areas Mission.

Anastasiya PaduraParticipantDear Mr. Patrick Galeski,
We are contacting you on behalf of SICI Dominus, a Spanish consultancy specialising in European projects and EU funding programmes.
Since 1995, we have supported numerous Spanish municipalities and provincial authorities (Diputaciones), as well as universities and public and private foundations, in the preparation and implementation of transnational EU-funded projects.
We would therefore be interested in exploring potential opportunities for cooperation within Interreg Euro-MED 8th call with you and some of the Spanish public entities with which we work, including the municipalities of Atarfe and Roquetas de Mar, both located in Andalusia, and the municipality of Ciudad Real.
We would be pleased to discover the possibility of joining one of our clients to your consortium as a partner for the project you mention “Wellbeing and health in living areas”. We would like to learn more about your project concept and discuss how our clients could potentially contribute to the partnership and planned activities.
Please, contact me at a.padura@sicidominus.comWe look forward to hearing from you.
Thank you.Kind regards,

Ognjen RadišićParticipantDear Ms. Marangoni and Mr. Galeski,
I am reaching out on behalf of the City of Teslić (Bosnia and Herzegovina) to express our interest in exploring potential collaboration under the upcoming 8th Interreg Euro-MED Open Call on Thematic Projects under the Mission “Promoting Green Living Areas.”
The City of Teslić is a municipality in north-central Bosnia and Herzegovina with approximately 38,000 inhabitants and a distinctive territorial profile, comprising a relatively dense urban centre and numerous rural settlements dispersed across a mountainous landscape. This spatial structure creates disproportionate pressure on the urban core, with particularly pronounced effects during the summer period, when car-oriented street design, urban heat-island effects, and increased tourist and diaspora flows contribute to climate-related health risks and reduced quality of public space, particularly for vulnerable groups such as people with disabilities, senior citizens, children and youth.
In response, the municipality has already undertaken initial urban greening measures as a first step towards creating a healthier and more climate-resilient urban environment. These efforts are intended to be complemented by further tactical urbanism interventions and nature-based solutions in the coming period. Moreover, the municipality is drafting a new urban design plan for the city centre that will include measures such as urban gardening and community-gathering zones.
Against this background, we see strong potential complementarity between your project concept — particularly its focus on nature-based solutions, citizen participation and inclusion — and our efforts to establish a more systemic framework for inclusive, livable and healthier public spaces.
The City of Teslić could offer three suitable pilot sites (municipally owned) for project interventions while also contributing to the dissemination and transfer of the project methodology to other local authorities in Bosnia and Herzegovina, thereby supporting the project’s wider capitalization potential.
The City of Teslić has extensive experience in implementing international projects in cooperation with partners such as the European Investment Bank, Czech Development Agency, the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida), UNDP and USAID. Furthermore, Teslić is currently a partner in the Interreg Euro-MED project WATERVILL – Innovative solutions for enhancing village water supply and addressing water scarcity in resilient rural and mountainous areas, participates in the NetZeroCities initiative as a Mission-Minded City, and is a mentee city in the Circular Cities and Regions Initiative (CCRI). These experiences have further strengthened our capacity to transfer, adapt and capitalise on innovative European practices at the local level.
We would be very interested in learning more about your project concept and exploring how the City of Teslić could contribute to and benefit from a potential collaboration.
Thank you very much for your time and consideration.
Kind regards,
Ognjen Radišić

Martha PapathanasiouParticipantDear Isabella,
INDIGO MED would be very interested in exploring a possible collaboration with you.
Your focus on urban resilience, nature-based solutions, green infrastructure, climate adaptation and community-based neighbourhood revitalisation is particularly relevant to our expertise in stakeholder engagement, capacity building, knowledge transfer, policy uptake, communication and impact.
We have nearly 20 years of experience in EU-funded projects and work at the interface between research, public authorities, practitioners, communities and policymakers, helping projects translate technical solutions into stakeholder participation, practical uptake and wider impact.
For a Green Living Areas proposal, we could contribute particularly to:
– stakeholder mapping, engagement and co-creation with local communities and public authorities;
– capacity building and knowledge transfer across pilot cities;
– communication and dissemination of tested solutions and lessons learned;
– policy-oriented outputs and uptake;
– transfer, replication and capitalisation across Mediterranean territories;
– impact pathways, KPIs and evaluation of stakeholder and societal uptake;
– proposal development and writing, including work-package design and impact sections.We would be very interested in discussing whether there may be scope for INDIGO MED to join an emerging consortium together with the City of Venice.
I would be pleased to share further information on our experience and arrange a short call if useful.
Thank you in advance for your time.
Best wishes,
Martha Papathanasiou
