Rijeka Development Agency Porin – Croatia

Rijeka offers a strong place-based testing environment for Promoting Green Living Areas. The City of Rijeka owns and manages an urban garden, creating an existing territorial asset around which a practical pilot could be developed: a specific urban/peri-urban location → improved food-growing practices and infrastructure → citizens, community gardeners and other local users → monitoring of environmental, social and behavioural effects → adaptation → a tested and transferable model for green living areas.

Rijeka Development Agency Porin can bring together the local ecosystem needed for real-life testing: the City of Rijeka and other public stakeholders, citizens and community initiatives, SMEs and entrepreneurs, educational organisations and civil society. Through its incubators, SME network and Tech Lab, Porin can also support the development, testing and demonstration of practical solutions and tools.

The focus is therefore not on creating another strategy, but on testing what works in a real Rijeka location, measuring the results, learning from users, adapting the intervention and turning the experience into a practice that can be transferred to other Euro-MED territories.

Porin is particularly interested in joining a consortium where Rijeka can serve as one of the concrete pilot territories and where the partnership is built around practical testing, evidence and transfer. Contact: tatjana.muhic@porin.hr (EU projects advisor)

    Dear Tatjana,

We are contacting you on behalf of SICI Dominus, a Spanish consultancy specialising in European projects and EU funding programmes.

Since 1995, we have supported numerous Spanish municipalities and provincial authorities (Diputaciones), as well as universities and public and private foundations, in the preparation and implementation of transnational EU-funded projects.

We would therefore be interested in exploring potential opportunities for cooperation within the Interreg Euro-MED 8th call with you, SICI Dominus and some of the Spanish public entities with which we work, including the municipalities of Atarfe and Roquetas de Mar, both located in Andalusia.

We would be pleased to discover the possibility of joining one of our clients to your consortium as a partner. We are available to arrange a short online meeting to learn more about your project concept and discuss how our clients could potentially contribute to the partnership and planned activities.

If you consider that there may be scope for collaboration, please contact me at a.padura@sicidominus.com

Thank you very much in advance.

We look forward to hearing from you.

    Kind regards,
    Anastasiya Padura
