The Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), http://www.bcci.bg , is a nationally represented horizontal non-profit private NGO with over 59 000 associated member companies. The activities and services of BCCI cover the whole territory of Bulgaria through its nationally represented membership and its network of 28 regional chambers and offices. The Chamber also has extensive networks of partners at European and international level through its membership in different international organisations, such as International Organization of Employers, International Chamber of Commerce, Eurochambres, Association of Balkan Chambers.
In its capacity as an officially recognised employer’s organisation, BCCI is a social partner and participant in the tripartite dialogue with the right to initiate legislative changes in different economic policies.
BCCI has significant experience in the management and implementation of EU-funded projects, having completed more than 50 projects over the last 20 years. The Chamber has expertise in the following project activities: conducting surveys, desk and field research, development of guidelines, identification of best practices, organization of different training and dissemination events, pilot testing and elaboration of e-learning training platforms and different digital tools, training materials, etc.
BCCI has also considerable experience in carrying out dissemination activities such as information days, seminars, promotional events and campaigns, conferences and press conferences, etc. Our PR Office issues on line daily edition of Infobusiness newsletter which is distributed to around 10 000 subscribers, while the website of BCCI has 69 035 monthly visits on average. BCCI also has considerable presence in social networks with more than 10 000 followers and subscribers across its social media accounts.
In the past 10 years, BCCI has participated as a partner in the implementation of the following Interreg projects:
• IntegrAGE (A practical approach to support the healthy adaptation and integration of 55+ work force into the labour market), Interreg Danube Region Programme;
• QUALIFY (Quality standards and authenticity to foster competitiveness of agrifood SMEs), Interreg Europe;
• SCOPE (Shared freight transport services connecting shipper and carrier operations), Interreg Balkan-Mediterranean Programme;
• AGROINNOECO (Balkan Med Interregional Innovation Ecosystem for maturing and mainstreaming innovative entrepreneurial ideas in Agrifood sector), Interreg Balkan-Mediterranean Programme
• MOVECO (Mobilising Institutional Learning for Better Exploitation of Research & Innovation for the Circular Economy), Interreg Danube Transnational Programme
• SKILLS+ (Supporting knowledge capacity in ICT among SME to engage in growth and innovation), Interreg Europe
