Yolanda MatasParticipantHello everyone,
We are the European Projects Department of the Federation of Municipalities, Counties and Provines of Aragón (FAMCP), Spain. We represent more than 700 municipalities, 33 counties and the 3 provinces of the Aragón Region.
We are very interested in joining a consortium under the forthcoming Interreg Euro-MED Call on Innovative Sustainable Economy.
FAMCP is the representative organisation of Aragón’s local authorities and has extensive experience in European territorial cooperation projects. We have participated as a partner in several European programmes, including Interreg Euro-MED, working on governance, citizen participation, sustainability, social innovation and territorial development.
Our added value lies in our capacity to:Transfer European project results, methodologies and tools to local authorities.
Mobilise and engage municipalities of different sizes in pilot actions and policy implementation.
Support multi-level governance processes and stakeholder participation.
Develop and implement pilot experiences at the local level.
Disseminate project outcomes through our municipal networks and communication channels.
Contribute to policy recommendations, capacity-building activities and knowledge transfer addressed to local governments.Through our European projects since 2004, we have developed strong expertise in cooperation methodologies, sustainable territorial development, participatory approaches and innovative solutions for municipalities.
We believe local authorities play a key role in fostering innovative and sustainable economic models across Mediterranean territories. FAMCP can provide a valuable bridge between European project results and their effective implementation at the local level.
We would be delighted to explore possible synergies and discuss how we could contribute to your proposal.
Please feel free to contact us:
