Hello everyone,

We are the European Projects Department of the Federation of Municipalities, Counties and Provinces of Aragón (FAMCP), Spain. We represent more than 700 municipalities, 33 counties and the 3 provinces of the Aragón Region.

We are very interested in joining a consortium under the forthcoming Interreg Euro-MED Call on Mediterranean Governance.

FAMCP is the representative organisation of Aragón’s local authorities and has extensive experience in European territorial cooperation projects. We have participated as a partner in several EU-funded programmes, including Interreg Euro-MED and other European initiatives focused on governance, citizen participation, sustainability, innovation, territorial development and capacity building for local authorities.

Our organisation acts as a bridge between European policies and their implementation at the local level, supporting municipalities in addressing common challenges through cooperation, knowledge transfer and innovative governance approaches.

Our added value lies in our capacity to:

Transfer European project results, methodologies and policy tools to local authorities.
Mobilise and engage municipalities of different sizes in pilot actions and policy implementation processes.
Support multi-level governance and stakeholder participation at local and regional levels.
Strengthen institutional capacities through capacity-building and peer-learning activities.
Facilitate co-creation processes involving public authorities, citizens and local stakeholders.
Disseminate project outcomes through our extensive municipal networks and communication channels.
Contribute to policy recommendations, governance models and knowledge transfer addressed to local and regional governments.
Foster Mediterranean cooperation and the capitalisation of European project results to maximise their territorial impact.

Through our European projects, we have developed strong expertise in territorial cooperation, participatory governance methodologies, social innovation and sustainable territorial development.

We firmly believe that local and regional authorities are key actors in strengthening governance across the Mediterranean. FAMCP can provide a valuable bridge between European project results and their effective implementation at the local level, ensuring their transferability, scalability and long-term impact.

The Fondazione Polo Universitario Grossetano is a Participatory Foundation that had as its promoters the Municipality of Grosseto, the Province of Grosseto, the University of Siena and the USL Toscana Sud Est. It is composed of 58 members including Municipalities, Public Interest Bodies, Banks, Service Associations, Secondary and 2nd level School Institutions, Consortia, Cooperatives and companies, Professional Orders, Research and Training Centers, Trade Associations.
The Foundation has been registered to the registers of the Ministry of Research and the Ministry of Labour for non-profit organizations
The Foundation has more than twenty years of proven experience in the provincial territory for education and training organization activities and services to the population, young and old, with the active involvement of all local authorities, schools and university education institutions, organizations, banks and companies. It also has many years of experience in the design and management of complex transnational projects in local development relating to weak, marginal and internal areas.
The Foundation offers 9 university courses, alongside higher education and professional training courses. It partners with associations of entrepreneurs (artisans, traders) to develop workforce profiles aligned with current market needs. FPUG has considerable experience in organizing seminar series and events designed to engage both young people and the elderly.
The Fondazione Polo Universitario Grossetano ETS was established in 1998, which has been joined since the beginning by the main public institutions, the University of Siena, trade associations, as well as a large group of associative subjects. The FPUG registered with the Public Register of No Profit bodies- Adoption Number 701 of 19.01.2023 Repertory 74010). The Foundation is registered in the National Research Registry, identification code ANR-X1_00002163, definitive code: 001504_ETER, Ministry of University and Research. It conducts its activities with the support of its members and primarily the University of Siena, operating through the interaction between the world of research and society, an interaction called the ” cultural and social mission” which concerns the production of public goods that increase the general level of well-being of society, having cultural, social, educational content and the development of civil awareness. Educational and training activities are aimed at young people, adults and elderly people
