The UfM EU/Jordan Co-Presidency and the UfM Secretariat, with the support of CINEA, are organizing the 2nd UfM Stakeholder Conference on Sustainable Blue Economy.
The Conference will be hosted by Greece and will take place in Athens (Eugenides Foundation) on 19 and 20 February 2024.
Three years since the adoption of the landmark 2021 UfM Ministerial Declaration on Sustainable Blue Economy (SBE) and its Roadmap for implementation adopted in 2022, the Conference will aim at bringing together a diverse representation of the rich and dynamic stakeholders, that make up the Mediterranean SBE community as key driver of concrete actions and scalable solutions across the region.
The Conference will serve as a key milestone to take stock of progress achieved, discuss joint challenges and transformative tools, share knowledge and outcomes from projects, programmes and initiatives, as well as engage the whole Mediterranean SBE Community in setting the path towards further deliberations at political level.
