Call 8 – Key Features Presentation
The Joint Secretariat (JS) organised an informative session to present the key features of Call 08, which is expected to be launched in October 2026.
Please note that this is not the official informative session presenting the Terms of References, which are planned to be approved in September.
The purpose of this 17 July meeting was to provide early indications on the Missions, Specific Objectives and thematic priorities addressed by the Call, as well as the main characteristics expected from project proposals, so that potential applicants can start preparing in advance.
Call 08 is launched at the end of the 2021–2027 programming period and aims to maximise the Programme’s impact by supporting a limited number of high-quality, implementation-ready projects capable of delivering tangible results within a short timeframe.
With an indicative budget of around €20 million, the Call is expected to fund approximately 10 Thematic Test Projects.
Call 08 is open under three Programme Missions:
– Strengthening an Innovative Sustainable Economy
– Protecting, Restoring and Valorising the Natural Environment and Heritage
– Promoting Green Living Areas
The Enhancing Sustainable Tourism Mission is not open under this Call, as tourism is addressed under Call 07.
