I am writing to you on behalf of King ICT, a private company from Zagreb, Croatia, that intensively deals with the sustainable development of urban canters and ICT solutions in traffic, which is one of the most significant causes of temperature increase in cities. We have implemented our solutions in the largest Croatian guards and on Croatian highways, and we have a lot of knowledge in solving environmental urban challenges.
Our added value is a complete understanding of traffic, public transport, floods, fires, and public space security, and we develop software and hardware for these situations.
We can make a strong contribution to the sustainable transport connection of urban and suburban areas. We would like to implement some of the sustainable transport solutions that have a significant impact on the preservation of cultural objects and the improvement of the quality of life in the Euro MED region.

Antroposervice Sas is a creative Italian SME, main partner in the “Festival dei due Parchi” (www.antroposervice.it ; http://www.festivaldeidueparchi.it) aiming to rediscovering and highlighting the “common sense” of a creative part of the territory of the two National Parks of Monti Sibillini and Gran Sasso and Monti della Laga, straddling the Italian regions: Abruzzo, Marche, Lazio, Umbria, in order to let citizens responsibly and creatively regain a sense of belonging to the territories, to protect and valorise them, with the languages of art, culture and sport starting from the wonderful environmental, naturalistic and cultural microcosm. Within the Festival, Antroposervice Sas has successfully conceived and organized since its inception more than 100 events, creatively using the languages of art, culture and sport, originally combining cultural and natural heritage, to propose a deep love for the beauty of nature, of artistic, cultural, anthropological and social traditions, aimed to developing new tourism opportunities based on the creative combination of natural and cultural heritage.
Among others, the “Festival dei due Parchi” and its events are based on raising awareness and organizing sustainable initiatives aiming to the protection and valorisation of natural eco-systems from anthropogenic exploitation, to the protection of natural habitats and biodiversity to help people develop a sense of profound respect for natural eco-systems and their interconnection with human life. Antroposervice staff also provides national/international training activities for the update of professionals and experts in different fields: environmental sustainability, entrepreneurship, adult education, school education and youth, also designing innovative training modules and programmes for entrepreneurship, employability and creativity in general through proprietary learning ecosystems based on metaphorical systems withdrawn from the languages of art and European mythology to reinforce the so-called “life skills” of individuals such as, for instance: creative and critical thinking, deep and effective communication, interpersonal relationship, empathy and emotions.

The Municipality of Jesolo (IT) is interested in joining your consortium. Would you be available for a quick call to discuss the project idea more in depth?

Jesolo is a city in North-East Italy, just a few kilometers away from Venice (about 40min by car). With a population of around 27.000 it is one of the most populous sea-side towns in the upper Adriatic sea.
The city is strongly oriented towards the sea-side tourism that characterises its economy, particularly during the summer months, when the population of Jesolo increases drastically with the contribution of tourists from central and Eastern Europe (it is the 8th most visited city in Italy!). As you can expect, the city offers many cultural attractions and presents a very lively night economy.
Nevertheless, Jesolo is increasingly taking care of the sustainability of its territory, not only in relation to its coastline (which is prone to erosion). The city is in fact nested between the Adriatic sea and the Venice lagoon, which is a protected Unesco heritage and Natura 2000 site. The topics of environmental sustainability, climate change and slow, sustainable and inclusive tourism are therefore very present and urgent for the city at the moment.
