STEP RI science and technology park of the University of Rijeka, established in 2008, is a recognized center for entrepreneurial support (EEN partner) and a major regional provider of business expertise.
STEP RI offers business support programs to SMEs based on global best practices, including product, service and business model innovation, servitization, digitalization (EDIH Adria member) and
sustainable development. STEP RI has developed various support programs for SMEs such as project GREENPACT (circular economy&sustainability), RCK RECEPT (tourism), RESTART (sustainability), etc.
STEP RI experts train advisors from business support organizations at national and EU level. The extensive experience gained through previous projects can be used to support sustainable management
and creation of business models (INTERREG MED–iBlue), as well as the creation and deployment of methodologies for transforming SMEs and for service innovation (INTERREG CEBOOST4BSO&
THINGS+).
