RDA BSC SMEs (Regional Development Agency with Business Support Centre for Small and Medium-sizes Enterprises) works 25 years in the fields of:

-creating a local mechanisms for development and support of the businesses (micro, small and medium-sized enterprises), government and administration (at national, regional, municipal and local level) and NGOs sectors.

RDA BSC SMEs – Plovdiv is an active participant in the process of creating the regional economic development and innovation policies, social entrepreneurship, green infrastructure and energy efficiency, vocational education and development of labour market, historical and cultural heritage and tourism, in the development of regional and municipal development plans and strategies, regional innovation strategies, communication strategies and others. Participation in regional, district and municipal development councils, councils for cooperation and tripartite councils at regional, district and municipal levels, in national and international networks.

RDA BSC SMEs – Plovdiv was established in 1996 as a body governed by public law (according to the definition of the Directive 2014/24/EU).

Founders and members of RDA BSC SMEs – Plovdiv are municipalities, associations of employers, universities, enterprises and physical persons such as: municipalities, business organizations, universities and etc.

We have huge experiences in the field of INTERREG programmes, incl. Balkan-Med programme(PRO-ENERGY project).
The common challenge of PRO-ENERGY was to improve energy efficiency of public buildings (municipal/provincial/regional buildings, schools, universities, health centres, hospitals, museums, sports facilities etc.).
Main activities were:
-Existing situation analysis – energy efficiency
-Good practices selection and benchmarking
-Joint strategy and action plan for increasing energy efficiency through behavioural change
-Joint criteria for selecting pilot public buildings
-Energy audits in pilot public buildings
-Design and implementation of activities on Capacity Building for Energy Managers
-Installation of smart sensors in pilot public buildings
-Design and development of a joint pilot platform for monitoring and improving energy efficiency in public buildings
-Designing and implementing a joint benefit analysis model.

The Municipality of Spinea is established near Venice (IT) and it is in charge of all administrative functions regarding its population and territory of Spinea, with a specific focus on services devoted to citizens and community, local territory and economic development, safety and culture.
Moreover, Spinea will be European City of Sport in 2023.
With regards to the current open EURO MED call, our entity is particularly interested in the “Innovative and sustainable economy” as well as “Green living areas” missions.

I believe that both adults and children need to constantly develop. If I had a child, then I would try to find really experienced teachers for extra classes outside of school. Now there are many great online platforms to find tutors for various subjects, but if we talk about kids math teachers, I can advise brighterly. It seems to me that such additional lessons with a tutor will not become too heavy load, because the teachers will correctly select the program, and will also try to make the process not only effective, but also fun.

About the City Development Agency – CIDEA
City Development Agency of Banja Luka (hereafter the CIDEA, CIDEA is abbreviated name of the Agency) was founded by Decision of Assembly of the city of Banja Luka (Bosnia and Herzegovina) and it has the status of the juristic person: administrative, nonprofit organization. The CIDEA is the link between the city administration and other stakeholders participating in the local development.
We are the leading institution for the development of the area of capacity development and creating favorable climate for the development of the economy. The CIDEA has its mission to provide support to existing and potential small and medium-sized enterprises and entrepreneurs to encourage their development and contribute to the growth of gross domestic product and create new jobs.
The main aims of the CIDEA activities are the following: coordinated planning and implementation of development projects, developed sector of entrepreneurship and growth of SMEs, educated and competitive workforce and developed information system for monitoring the development and influence the results of implemented projects.
The main activities that the CIDEA has been performing are focused on identification and implementation of development projects that are facilitating and accelerating local economic development, development of entrepreneurship and have positive impact on employment rate in the city as well as development of the other projects assigned by the city. Particular attention is given to the projects identified in the Development Strategy of Banja Luka City. In the previous years, the CIDEA also drafted studies and planning documents number of strategic documents related to rural development and SME development strategy. This shows the CIDEA’s strong commitment to the projects that follow approved strategic documents.
We do have developed strong partnership relations with the number of international organizations, foreign public institutions, and agencies. We are working on development and implementation of joint projects with clearly defined benefit for our clients at local level but also with very precise defined impact on global level.
Finally, since established, the Agency has been working on its capacity building. Particular attention is given to the development of sector for international cooperation. Recently, very qualified staff with several years of relevant experience gained working with the EU funded projects has been employed.
