    islata is a medium sized city completely integrated in the metropolitan area of Valencia, Spain, with a separation of only one street between the two cities. The
    municipality of Mislata has only 2.03 square kilometers, with 44,320 inhabitants, being one of the most populated areas in the EU. The city of Mislata has a series of
    characteristics that make it a strategic place, mixing the socio-economic dynamics of large cities with the dynamics more typical of medium-sized cities, giving it its own
    identity.
    Mislata offers an ideal environment for the implementation of recovery and resilience instruments. of recovery and resilience. Offering a unique window to the future, in
    which many medium-sized cities can be reflected in; and given the particularities of the city, it assumes responsibility for the optimal use of the territory’s resources and the use of new opportunities offered by the digital transformation, , ecological and environmental transition or the circular economy.

    The Municipality of Mislata has as a priority to continue offering a wide battery of resources to its citizens and to continue growing economically. In addition, the main
    objectives have been to implement digitalization projects and green policies to reduce CO2. In order to apply these policies and continue to expand Mislata throughout Europe, they have created the Mislata’s European Office. The objective of this office is to promote among its citizens the values of coexistence, peace and freedom that the European Union represents, but also to cooperate with youth, foster digitalization and fight against climate change with policies and working with different European
    municipalities to share good practices and continue generating opportunities through innovation and social welfare.
