MARINN is a Croatian cluster, established with the aim to strengthen the competitiveness and innovation of the maritime industry through networking of all relevant actors in the public, private and scientific research sectors, development and sharing of research, business and educational infrastructure and the exchange of knowledge and expertise, development of smart skills for the jobs of the future and preparation and implementation of collaborative R&D projects.
Our focus revolves around sustainable green technologies development, including hydrogen, waste, renewable energy sources, green construction, bioeconomy and sustainable development.
We have been involved in projects related to the development of ships and propulsion systems based on green hydrogen, unmanned ships with a fully autonomous navigation system, innovative environmentally friendly technologies for treatment of different types of waste and waste-to-energy conversion, innovative solutions for smart, green and self-sustaining marinas and ports and digital transformation of the industry through automation, vision technology, modern sensors, and digital connectivity.
