GHG is a project that aims to stimulate a new investment wave in greenhouses heated by geothermal energy, given that many parts of Europe has exceptional geothermal potential due to the proximity of the Pannonian geothermal basin. In the countries of Europe, a lack of such a solution has been observed, and for a long time, the state of the art of this solution has stagnated and become neglected. Therefore, it is necessary to start things for the better in this, and this project aims to achieve that. Geothermal heating of greenhouses is a green and sustainable solution that, apart from innovation, also plays an important role from the energy aspect, but also from an agricultural one. This project aims to apply a renewable, green and sustainable solution that will contribute to the safe and sustainable cultivation of crops and food production and to the reduction of dependence on fossil fuels.
