The East Venice Tourist District is a not for profit association promoted by a consortium of 22 municipalities and tourism SMEs located in the Veneto Region, the first italian tourism destination even if affected by mass tourism flows in Venice, Verona and seaside cities.
The East Venice territory is characterized by coastal and rural areas representing the culture, landscape, traditions, local produce and identity of Veneto.
The district s regulated by national legislation and established by decree of the Italian Minister of Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism at the request of tourism SMEs operating in the area.
EVTD, acting as destination marketing organization focusing on developing tourism at a sub-regional level, is interested in joining proposals aiming to: distribute tourism all over the year, promote tourism in the less known areas by valorising tangible and intangible heritage, enhance the circular economy in tourism.
