    Association “European center for education, science and innovations” (ECESI), a non-profit organization based in Bulgaria, is looking for partnership in a consortium for the Euro-MED project.

    The European Center for Education, Science and Innovation (ECESI) is a non-profit organization based in Bulgaria. It aims to promote the personal growth and professional development of the individual as well as to promote a happy and healthy lifestyle. It aims to support young people’s innovative vocational education as well as adult education, to promote the motivation for lifelong learning by enhancing the attractiveness and innovativeness of teaching materials by participating in the creation of e-learning platforms in environmental vocational training.
    Research, development and implementation of innovative products and products based on new technologies are among ECESI’s priorities.
    As an organization oriented towards education and its relationship with industry, ECESI works with educational institutions and various industries: construction, energy, energy efficient building installations. ECESI specialists strive to contribute to overcoming the main challenges in the areas of:
    1) Digital learning
    2) Energy efficiency and Energy for sustainable development
    3) Buildings in energy transition
    4) Conservation of natural resources.
    ECESI is a partner of the European GREENET.
    ECESI researchers support training, development of training tools, project management, etc.
    ECESI aims to support the fight against climate change. By creating VET educational products ECESI aims to support the construction and energy sectors to become more sustainable and more friendly to the climate and the environment.
    The association works actively in the field of VET – with vocational schools and vocational training centers in the region, supporting them with initiatives and participation in the development of joint projects related to the environmental aspects of vocational education. Together with the Union of Entrepreneurs and the Gabrovo Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the
    association is an active partner in campaigns to raise the awareness of SMEs in the construction sector to identify opportunities to participate in various national environmental projects and programs.
    In recent years, ECESI’s work has been actively focused on the fight to limit carbon emissions in the construction sector and preserve the Earth’s climate. ECESI is involved in the creation of a platform and web-based training materials to improve the green building professional skills of those working in the construction sector.
    Currently, the Association is working on the development of ecological, energy-sustainable, “smart” buildings by building systems for automated control of building installations, smart lighting.

    About the City Development Agency – CIDEA
    City Development Agency of Banja Luka (hereafter the CIDEA, CIDEA is abbreviated name of the Agency) was founded by Decision of Assembly of the city of Banja Luka (Bosnia and Herzegovina) and it has the status of the juristic person: administrative, nonprofit organization. The CIDEA is the link between the city administration and other stakeholders participating in the local development.
    We are the leading institution for the development of the area of capacity development and creating favorable climate for the development of the economy. The CIDEA has its mission to provide support to existing and potential small and medium-sized enterprises and entrepreneurs to encourage their development and contribute to the growth of gross domestic product and create new jobs.
    The main aims of the CIDEA activities are the following: coordinated planning and implementation of development projects, developed sector of entrepreneurship and growth of SMEs, educated and competitive workforce and developed information system for monitoring the development and influence the results of implemented projects.
    The main activities that the CIDEA has been performing are focused on identification and implementation of development projects that are facilitating and accelerating local economic development, development of entrepreneurship and have positive impact on employment rate in the city as well as development of the other projects assigned by the city. Particular attention is given to the projects identified in the Development Strategy of Banja Luka City. In the previous years, the CIDEA also drafted studies and planning documents number of strategic documents related to rural development and SME development strategy. This shows the CIDEA’s strong commitment to the projects that follow approved strategic documents.
    We do have developed strong partnership relations with the number of international organizations, foreign public institutions, and agencies. We are working on development and implementation of joint projects with clearly defined benefit for our clients at local level but also with very precise defined impact on global level.
    Finally, since established, the Agency has been working on its capacity building. Particular attention is given to the development of sector for international cooperation. Recently, very qualified staff with several years of relevant experience gained working with the EU funded projects has been employed.

    We are Bulgarian NGO Leaders of the Future and we work in rural areas in central north Bulgaria.
    Our goal is to develop entrepreneurship, issue advocacy, human rights, and democracy education in remote areas. We are also working on renewable energy projects supporting low-income households and projects related to waste-to-energy solutions where we can reduce waste.  We also work with SMEs and the local chambers of commerce to support us in education and knowledge transfer activities.
