Dear Inis,

We are a university research group based at the Department of Architecture of the University of Florence, Italy, and part of the inter-university TESIS Research Centre. Our main research focus is the relationship between the built environment and human health and wellbeing.

Our expertise lies in architecture and design, with particular experience in healthcare design, urban health and healthy neighbourhoods, green solutions for health and wellbeing (e.g. nature-based solutions for health promotion and for outdoor thermal comfort and wellbeing), participatory and co-design processes, and inclusive design.

In addition to our research experience, we have contacts with local public administrations in the healthcare sector, and could potentially contribute pilot sites, should these be of interest to the project.

We would be very happy to join a consortium for the Interreg Euro-MED Call 08 and contribute our expertise to the development and implementation of the proposed project. Otherwise, we would also be glad to explore opportunities for future collaboration in related research and project initiatives.
