The Interreg Euro-MED Programme is pleased to share the final results of Call 05 – Thematic Strategic Territorial Projects.
On 24 June 2025, the Monitoring Committee approved 9 projects of which 4 are approved under conditions.

The selected projects are spread across the four priority missions:
- 4 on Sustainable Innovative Economy
- 2 on Natural Heritage
- 2 on Sustainable Tourism
- 1 on Green Living Areas

Distribution by territory:
Islands: 2 (water) + 2 (waste) = 4
Rural areas: 4 (water)
Rural & mountain areas: 1 (water)

BUDGET STATUS
With Call 05, the programme has now committed 86 % of its total budget—a significant stride in funding high-impact strategic projects.
WHAT’S NEXT?
- Pre-contracting & contracting: July–October 2025
- Projects kick-off: 1 September 2025
- Lead Partner Seminar: 18 September 2025 (09:30 – 12:30 CEST)
NB: Call 05 was the last open call in the 2021–2027 period. Going forward, calls will be targeted, focusing on specific themes or territories.
