Fire Center Sv. Florian was founded in 2005 in Croatia, Split-Dalmatia County as a non-governmental organization to prevent marine pollution and maritime disasters. The main activity of this center is civil protection in the field of fire prevention, rescue and relief operations, and response to accidental marine pollution, mainly in the area of Split-Dalmatia County.
Our strength is the experience of our team gained in firefighting and preventional actions at sea and by the sea. However, our mission is a further effort in disaster risk management such as fire detection, fire extinguishing, oil spill response, and HAZMAT response.
We are interested in participating in projects on the following priority themes:
Natural environment and heritage – The prevention of ecosystems (sea) from pollution and disaster, marine litter, ocean acidification, pollution from ships, etc…
If you believe that our organization could be a potential partner, under GOVERNANCE PROJECTS for proposals for the Euro-MED Programme feel free to contact us to discuss possible ways of cooperation.
