Dimitar PaunovParticipantDear Euro-MED Community / Lead Partners,
The Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) is seeking to join mature consortia preparing proposals under the Innovative Sustainable Economy mission for Call 8. Aligning with the call’s specific scope on territorial resilience, we are targeting project proposals focused on reducing water pollution in the agri-food sector and reducing water plastic pollution.
Why partner with BCCI?
• Proven Interreg & Circular Economy Experience: We bring solid capitalisation capabilities, administrative reliability, and deep knowledge of territorial project rules. Our successful track record includes high-impact regional projects such as:
o QUALIFY (Interreg Europe) – Quality Standards and authenticity to foster competitiveness of agrifood SMEs.
o MOVECO (Danube Transnational Programme) – Mobilising Institutional Learning for Better Exploitation of Research and Innovation for the Circular Economy.
o AgroINNOEco (Balkan-Med) – Interregional Innovation Ecosystem for maturing and mainstreaming innovative entrepreneurial ideas in the Agrifood sector.
• Massive Territorial Anchoring: Uniting 28 regional chambers and over 52,000 member companies, we provide a direct gateway to pilot networks, regional SMEs, and sectoral organizations essential for testing, validating, and scaling innovative circular economy practices on the ground.
• Policy Integration & Dissemination Strength: As an officially recognized national Employer Organization, BCCI plays an integral role in national economic policy. We excel at policy transfer, translating technical innovation, and deploying project results directly into regional business ecosystems and public governance frameworks.
Our Core Project Contributions
• Actively leading or contributing to Work Packages focused on Testing (pilots with business networks), Transferring, and Capitalisation.
• Engaging target groups, managing local stakeholder networks, and drafting policy recommendations based on pilot data. We are fully operational on the Jems platform and ready to actively collaborate on finalising the proposal development ahead of the November 13th deadline.Contact:
