Sofia Municipality is interested in joining a consortium under the Interreg Euro-MED Call 8 and is currently looking for potential project partners and innovative project ideas.
Sofia Municipality can contribute with its experience and expertise in digitalisation, development of digital public services and the application of innovative digital solutions in urban governance and service delivery. The Municipality is particularly interested in exploring how digital tools can be integrated into practical, user-oriented solutions addressing current urban and territorial challenges.
Within a future project, Sofia Municipality could contribute by testing and piloting innovative digital tools or services in a real urban environment, involving citizens and relevant stakeholders, collecting and analysing data, and assessing the impact and usability of the solutions. Digitalisation could also serve as a cross-cutting component supporting areas such as green and resilient urban environments, climate adaptation, environmental monitoring, citizen participation, health and wellbeing, and sustainable management of urban spaces.
Sofia Municipality is open to discussing different thematic approaches and project concepts and is interested in partners who are looking for a city/municipal authority to host or co-develop pilot activities.
