    PARTNER SEARCH – INTERREG EURO-MED CALL 7 | LOCAL FOOD, WINE AND SUSTAINABLE RURAL TOURISM

    PANORA – Development Agency of Požega-Slavonia County, Croatia, is developing a project concept under Interreg Euro-MED Call 7 and is considering the Lead Partner role.

    The concept is being developed with Kulturist Association from Požega. Discussions are also underway with the Faculty of Tourism and Rural Development in Požega (FTRR) regarding its participation as a project partner.

    OUR PROJECT IDEA

    We aim to connect local fruit growers and wine producers with gastronomy and sustainable rural tourism, helping them create added value from their products and develop cooperation with restaurants, tourism businesses and other potential buyers.

    By transferring and adapting existing MMM outputs, we would like to:

    • introduce practical approaches to processing and adding value to local fruit and wine-related products;
    • explore circular practices for surplus fruit and agricultural by-products;
    • organise workshops and demonstrations supported by basic cost, pricing and market feasibility assessments;
    • connect producers with hospitality and tourism businesses;
    • develop and trial tastings, producer visits and gastronomic experiences that showcase local products and heritage.

    MMM OUTPUTS OF INTEREST

    We are currently exploring:

    • TESTEAT – MMM_IH19: connecting local products, gastronomy and tourism;
    • INN-Pratica – MMM_IF10: mapping and sharing agricultural innovations and sustainable practices;
    • CamBioVia-Pro – MMM_IF04: gastronomic excursions showcasing local producers and their territories.

    The final selection and scope of transfer remain open to discussion with output developers and prospective partners.

    WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
    We welcome expressions of interest from:
    • organisations that developed or have practical experience with these MMM outputs and can support their transfer;
    • organisations from eligible Euro-MED countries interested in adapting the selected approaches in their own territories;
    • partners with expertise in local food systems, sustainable tourism, circular practices, producer cooperation and market access.
    We already have partners from Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina and are now seeking partners from at least three other eligible Euro-MED countries to complete our transnational partnership.

    WHAT WE CAN CONTRIBUTE

    PANORA can contribute project preparation and coordination, regional development expertise and connections with public institutions and local stakeholders. Kulturist can contribute cultural content, community engagement and the development of visitor experiences. The potential role of FTRR, currently under discussion, includes specialist knowledge, training, economic assessments and evaluation of practical activities.

    Our ambition is to build a transnational partnership in which participating territories apply the selected approaches, exchange experience and create lasting benefits for local producers and communities.

    Dear Team,
    I am contacting you on behalf of the Municipality of Vau Dejës, Albania, following your partner search for the project concept currently being developed by PANORA under Interreg Euro-MED Call 7 – Sustainable Tourism.
    We would be very interested in exploring the participation of the Municipality of Vau Dejës as an IPA Project Partner / Receiving and Pilot Territory in your consortium.
    Your concept has a strong connection with our local development priorities. Vau Dejës combines rural and mountain areas, agricultural production, local food and wine traditions, gastronomy, crafts, cultural heritage, traditional villages and significant potential for agritourism and sustainable rural tourism.
    We are particularly interested in strengthening the connection between local farmers and producers, gastronomy, tourism businesses and visitors, and in developing sustainable tourism experiences based on local products and territorial identity.
    Vau Dejës could provide a suitable territory for adapting and testing the selected MMM approaches through the involvement of local fruit growers, wine and other local producers, rural households, tourism businesses, restaurants, artisans and community stakeholders.
    As a local public authority, the Municipality could contribute to stakeholder mapping and engagement, identification of producers and pilot locations, adaptation and testing of transferred solutions, workshops and demonstration activities, development of local gastronomic and producer-based tourism experiences, dissemination, and institutional uptake of successful approaches into local tourism and development policies.
    We are particularly interested in the potential transfer of solutions connecting local products, gastronomy and tourism, including the outputs you are currently exploring such as TESTEAT, INN-Pratica and CamBioVia-Pro, depending on the final selection agreed by the partnership.
    Given that you are currently completing the transnational partnership, we would be very interested to know whether the Municipality of Vau Dejës could join as the Albanian IPA partner and receiving/pilot territory.
    If possible, we would appreciate receiving your current Concept Note or project outline, together with information on the envisaged role, activities and indicative budget for Vau Dejës, the current partnership composition and the next steps required from us.
    Given the short timeframe before the Call 7 deadline, I am fully available for direct communication by email and can respond promptly throughout the proposal preparation. The Municipality is ready to provide the necessary institutional information, partner documentation and Application Form inputs at short notice.
    We would be pleased to cooperate with PANORA and the other partners in developing this proposal.
