We are Fondazione Germani ETS, a non-profit organisation based in a rural area of northern Italy, with long-standing experience in delivering social and care services to elderly and disabled people in territories with limited access to services.
Ahead of Call 8 for Thematic Projects, we are looking to join a consortium under the Green Living Areas mission, with a specific interest in Specific Objective 2.4 (climate change adaptation and disaster risk resilience). We believe our field experience can bring real value to project proposals addressing:
– Protection of vulnerable populations (elderly, people with disabilities) from climate-related risks in rural and marginal territories (heatwaves, isolation during extreme weather events, emergency access);
– Piloting community-based resilience and early-warning models for fragile residents in low-density areas;
– Testing adapted mobility and proximity-service solutions during climate emergencies.
We are seeking to join as a project partner (implementation partner) alongside a Lead Partner and other Mediterranean organisations already developing a proposal for this call.
