Nelson GomesParticipantFundação INATEL is a Portuguese public-interest foundation established in 1935, with 90 years of experience in social tourism, culture, sports, leisure, social inclusion and territorial development.
Operating across mainland Portugal and the islands, Fundação INATEL has a strong nationwide presence through 26 local branches, 15 hotel units, sports facilities, Teatro da Trindade INATEL, a Training Academy and a Qualifica Centre. Its network reaches approximately 250,000 individual members and 3,500 collective members (Centres for Culture and Sports – CCDs), providing the Foundation with a strong capacity to reach citizens and engage communities and local stakeholders across different territories.
Fundação INATEL has extensive experience in implementing publicly funded programmes and initiatives in areas such as sustainable and social tourism, sports and physical activity, culture, training and capacity building, active and healthy ageing, digital inclusion, intergenerational and intercultural dialogue and social inclusion.
What can Fundação INATEL bring to a consortium?
Fundação INATEL can contribute as a territorial implementation, community engagement and pilot partner, particularly through:
Implementation and testing of pilot activities in different Portuguese territories;
Engagement of citizens, communities and local stakeholders in the design, testing and uptake of sustainable solutions;
Promotion of active and healthy lifestyles, physical activity, leisure and active ageing;
Development of initiatives connecting green transition, social inclusion and community participation;
Promotion of intergenerational and intercultural participation;
Valorisation of local, environmental and cultural resources as assets for more sustainable and attractive territories;
Training, capacity-building and awareness-raising activities supporting sustainable behaviours and lifestyles;
Cooperation with municipalities, local associations, cultural and sports organisations and other territorial stakeholders;
Organisation of participatory and community-based activities;
Dissemination, transfer and replication of project results through its extensive nationwide network.Fundação INATEL is particularly interested in joining projects aimed at creating greener, healthier, more inclusive and resilient living areas, where environmental sustainability is combined with quality of life, active lifestyles, social inclusion, community participation and territorial cohesion.
The Foundation would be particularly interested in projects where its territorial network, infrastructures and direct connection with communities can provide real-life environments for testing, demonstrating and disseminating innovative approaches.
Fundação INATEL would be pleased to explore potential synergies and discuss its contribution as a Partner within a transnational consortium.

Emina MravovićParticipantHi, I would like to briefly introduce CEEO (Center for Energy, Energy Efficiency and Environment), a Bosnia and Herzegovina-based NGO and expert organization working on energy efficiency, renewable energy, climate change, environmental protection and sustainable development.
We are currently implementing an Interreg Danube project and have previous experience with Interreg MED projects, including the implementation of an Interreg MED project in 2022. We are also currently implementing a circular economy project supported by the UNDP–Czech Challenge Fund, giving us relevant practical experience in this field.
In addition, CEEO has experience in urban planning and nature-based solutions through our previous URWAN project, which we see as particularly relevant to the “Greening living areas” topic.
Our team has extensive experience in developing EU project applications and in the implementation and management of EU-funded projects.
If you are planning to apply under the upcoming Interreg MED call and are building a consortium, we would be very interested in joining. We believe CEEO could bring relevant expertise and practical experience to the partnership, and we would be happy to discuss potential areas of cooperation.
Please let me know if you are considering an application, and we would be happy to have a short call. emina.mravovic@ceeo.ba
