Una-Sana Forests Ltd. seeking consortium for Interreg Euro-MED Call 7 & 8

Forest Management Company “Una-Sana Forests” Ltd. (ŠPD “Unsko-sanske šume” d.o.o.), based in north-western Bosnia and Herzegovina, is interested in contributing to project proposals being developed for Interreg Euro-MED Call 7 and 8.

As a multi-million public forest management company operating across Una-Sana Canton, we bring practical experience in forest management and protection, together with direct access to forest areas and a strong presence on the ground. This makes us well positioned to contribute to projects that move beyond planning and research towards testing and implementing solutions in real territories.

Our main interest is the Natural Heritage mission, particularly topics related to:

🌲 climate-resilient and sustainable forest management
🌿 biodiversity conservation and ecosystem restoration
🔥 forest fire prevention and climate adaptation
💧 protection of forest and freshwater ecosystems
🌍 nature-based solutions and ecosystem resilience
📍 sustainable management of natural areas and ecosystem services

We are also open to cooperation under other relevant Call 7 and 8 missions where our expertise and territory could support the proposed activities.

We would be interested in connecting with project coordinators and organisations currently shaping Call 7and 8 proposals, including public authorities, universities and research institutions, protected areas, environmental organisations, forest organisations and other relevant Euro-MED partners.

Una-Sana Forests could contribute as a project partner, pilot site and field implementation partner, offering a concrete territorial setting in Bosnia and Herzegovina for testing, demonstrating and assessing project solutions. We are particularly interested in projects under the Natural Heritage mission, but are also open to relevant opportunities under Green Living Areas, Sustainable tourism and Innovative Sustainable Economy.

If your consortium is developing a Call 7 or 8 concept where forests, biodiversity, climate resilience or natural heritage are central to the intervention, I would be glad to explore possible cooperation.
