    Dear all,
    I represent a French association based in Occitanie region. We would like to join a consortium in response to Call for Proposals No. 8 under the Interreg Euro-MED programme, specifically for Specific Objective 2.7 of the GLA mission, which is due to be published in October.

    We have extensive experience in the design, implementation and management of Interreg projects (Euro-MED, SUDOE).
    In relation to OS 2.7, our expertise lies in structuring multi-stakeholder ecological restoration initiatives that promote locally sourced wild plants, particularly within the Mediterranean biogeographical region.
    We can contribute by adapting and transferring the lessons learnt from previous projects to new target areas and by supporting the integration of promising solutions into public policies for biodiversity conservation.

    We are keen to collaborate with experienced partners in this field (public authorities, research organisations, associations). We are capable of implementing pilot projects and jointly producing concrete results and transferable solutions before the programme concludes.

    This is Avelina from Incubadora CON VALORES (ICV), a Spanish NGO based in Valencia.     We are currently looking to join a consortium being developed under Interreg Euro-MED Call 8, particularly within Specific Objective 2.7

    On behalf of the Regional Development Agency of Karlovac County, Croatia, I would like to express our interest in joining a project consortium as a project partner.

    Our Agency has extensive experience in the preparation and implementation of EU-funded projects, particularly in nature-based solutions (NbS), climate resilience, sustainable regional development, environmental protection and strengthening the capacity of local and regional communities to respond to climate and environmental challenges. We have participated as both project partner and lead partner in Interreg projects such as EXCOVER, AcquaGuard, EcoFoodCycle and GUSTI.

    Our experience includes testing nature-based approaches, sustainable management of natural resources, stakeholder engagement and cross-border cooperation. We also have experience in sustainable local food systems and green public procurement. Our work on green public procurement supporting local agricultural producers has been recognised as an example of good practice, demonstrating how procurement can support local producers, shorten supply chains and strengthen rural communities.

    As a project partner, we can contribute to pilot activities, cooperation with local and regional authorities and stakeholders, testing and validation of nature-based solutions, and the transfer and integration of project results into local and regional policies.

    Karlovac County offers a relevant setting for pilot activities, with its river systems, urban and rural ecosystems, agricultural areas and exposure to climate-related pressures.

    We would be very interested in discussing potential cooperation under Call 8, SO 2.7, and exploring how our expertise, pilot potential and regional stakeholder network could contribute to the consortium.

    We are currently seeking project partners for Call for Proposals No. 8. The Municipality of Vrapciste is a public local body in North Macedonia with extensive experience in implementing EU and donor-funded projects, including Interreg Balkan-Mediterranean, IPA Cross-Border cooperation, and initiatives focusing on environmental protection, wildfire prevention, ecosystem services, social inclusion (such as a kindergarten project for children with special needs), and local infrastructure.

    Geographically, our municipality is partially situated within a protected natural area rich in wild plants and Non-Timber Forest Products (NTFP), perfectly aligning with your expertise.

    Dear Juliette, and everyone following this thread,
    I write from EKO ZH in Bosnia and Herzegovina. We can bring a prepared pilot site to an SO 2.7 proposal.
    Mostarsko Blato is a karst polje and Key Biodiversity Area of about 3,800 hectares — the only place on earth where Phoxinellus pseudalepidotus (IUCN Endangered) occurs. We are currently running activities on Mostarsko blato until September 2027, and have a architectural design for an in-situ conservation area, the City is securing the land, and the City and the competent cantonal ministry are expected in the project. Bosnia and Herzegovina is an IPA partner state.
    Reading this thread, several of us are looking to join a consortium and few are building one. If anyone here is shaping an SO 2.7 concept, I would gladly contribute the site — and if no one is, I would be equally glad to talk with the others posting here about approaching a lead partner together.
    Happy to share our site brochure and set up a call with anyone working towards the 8th call for thematic projects.

    Thank you for sharing this opportunity. We see strong potential synergies with our work in Jordan.

    **Seeds Foundation** works on community-based ecosystem and rangeland restoration, biodiversity, native vegetation, climate resilience and participatory natural-resource governance. We also chair the **National Land Coalition – Jordan**, bringing together civil society, research institutions, public authorities and local communities.

    Our field experience includes dryland and rangeland restoration, community-based Hima approaches, work with pastoral and rural communities, and engagement with public authorities on land and environmental policies.

    As Jordan is outside the Interreg Euro-MED programme area, we would be interested in exploring participation as an **Associated Partner**, contributing a Southern Mediterranean perspective on knowledge transfer, replication, community engagement and the science–policy interface.

    I represent a Bulgarian NGO – Association of Parks in Bulgaria (APB). We would like to join a consortium in Call 8 under the Interreg Euro-MED programme, specifically for Objective 2.7 of the Natural Heritage Mission.
    We have extensive experience in the implementation and management of European projects, including Interreg projects. We are currently part of the Community4Nature governance project consortium. In relation to Objective 2.7, our expertise lies in structuring multi-stakeholder ecological restoration initiatives, educational and training activities, biodiversity and nature conservation.

    Some information on what the Association of Parks in Bulgaria generally works:
    – Conducting research, supporting the conservation, and promoting the sustainable development of Bulgarian parks and the national system of protected areas.
    – Supporting the development, effective management, and long-term conservation of parks and other protected areas throughout Bulgaria.
    – Promoting and supporting opportunities for sustainable income generation and local economic development within and around protected areas.
    – Raising public awareness of the importance, objectives, and role of protected areas systems.
    – Promoting and facilitating effective cooperation and coordination among all organizations and institutions involved in the conservation of protected areas and biodiversity.
    – Supporting the sustainable development and effective management of protected areas for the benefit of present and future generations.
    – Fostering environmental awareness and a culture of responsible stewardship of nature among the population.
    – Supporting the implementation of national and international legislation, as well as established best practices, for the management and conservation of protected areas, biodiversity, and landscape diversity.
    – Working on national and international topic related projects.
    – Conducting educational activities, including creating educational material, encouraging citizen science, working with interested people and volunteers of all ages.
    – Working on the recognition, protection and monitoring of the ancient trees in Bulgaria.

    We can contribute by adapting and transferring the lessons learnt from previous projects to new target areas and by supporting the integration of promising solutions into public policies for biodiversity conservation. We have strong national connections with public and management authorities, as well as various nature conservation organisations and NGOs in the country. We are keen to collaborate with experienced partners in this field. We are capable of implementing pilot projects and jointly producing concrete results and transferable solutions.
