Green Village Banovina (Croatia)
We are developing Green Village Banovina, an Interreg Euro-MED project concept that aims to demonstrate how circular construction, social innovation and community regeneration can contribute to the sustainable recovery of earthquake-affected regions.
WHO WE ARE
KroNLand Association is a Croatian non-profit organisation founded after the 2020 earthquake with the mission of supporting green transition, sustainable rural development and social inclusion through European cooperation. Our organisation has experience in Erasmus+ and international cooperation with partners from Croatia, the Netherlands and Greece.
PROJECT IDEA
The project foresees the development of a pilot demonstration house inspired by the traditional Croatian wooden Korablja, built using circular and bio-based materials. The pilot will serve as a living demonstration site for: circular construction, green skills, mental health rehabilitation through meaningful work, knowledge transfer, sustainable local development. The initiative represents the first step towards the long-term vision Green Village Banovina 2030.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for an experienced Lead Partner together with organisations from eligible Euro-MED countries with expertise in: circular construction, bio-based materials, regional development, social innovation, living labs, research and innovation, public authorities and development agencies.
CROATIAN PILOT
The Croatian partnership will be developed around KroNLand Association together with Croatian organisations active in mental health, regional development and local authorities.
We are currently seeking experienced European organisations interested in jointly shaping a competitive Interreg Euro-MED proposal. If your organisation has experience in coordinating Interreg or other European cooperation projects and is interested in co-developing this proposal, we would be pleased to discuss potential cooperation. We welcome public authorities, regional development agencies, research organisations, NGOs and SMEs interested in jointly shaping a strong Interreg Euro-MED proposal.
