Mediterranean Peer Learning Visits: A Match Made for Impact!

02/07/2026

On 16 June 2026, the Mediterranean Multi-Programme Mechanism (MMM) hosted an online event to unveil its Coordinated Call for Proposals and the Mediterranean Peer Learning Visits (MPLVs). With over 600 participants, the launch was a true success.

But what makes MPLVs truly special?

Capitalisation with a Twist

Through on-site visits, MPLVs empower partners from different countries and programmes to exchange knowledge, share experiences, and replicate proven solutions in sustainable tourism. Think of it as speed-dating for projects, except the matches are built on collaboration, not chance!

When it comes to capitalisation, the real challenge is not to merely replicate existing initiatives, but to generate added value by experimenting with new forms of cooperation and develop more effective and integrated solutions.

MPLVs connects projects beyond their usual borders, fostering new partnerships and unlocking fresh learning opportunities across the Mediterranean. More than just an exchange, the initiative paves the way toward a more coordinated, results-driven approach.

How does it work?

Ready to dive in? Here’s your roadmap:

  1. Eligibility: You must be an ongoing project from one of the 10 MMM-participating programmes.
  2. Express Interest: Indicate your availability to host a visit (giver) or join a visit (taker) by filling in the online database with your project details and contact information. Givers effectively facilitate the exchange of knowledge. Takers learn with the aim of adapting and replicating solutions and practices within their own projects and local contexts.
  3. Plan Your Match: Schedule a visit to or from a project co-financed under a different Interreg Programme than your own.
  4. Submit Your Request: Complete the dedicated form before 31 November 2026. Once approved, essential travel and accommodation costs can be covered under your project budget.

Your Perfect Project Match Awaits!

To celebrate the launch of MPLVs, the 10 Interreg Programmes of the MMM have crafted a communication campaign centered on curiosity and connection. So, what are you waiting for?
