Welcome to our new IVY reporter!

04/02/2025

IVY “Interreg Volunteer Youth” is an initiative by the European Commission that started in 2017. It gives young people aged between 18 and 30 years old the opportunity to be a volunteer within the organisations that make European cooperation possible.

The Interreg Euro-MED Programme supports the IVY initiative and welcomed Farah Ben Hadj Yahia, a new IVY Reporter, this week. Over the next months, she will collaborate with the communication team to boost the visibility of cooperation in the Mediterranean, with a special focus on youth. In line with the programme’s goals of creating a smarter and greener region, she will engage with young people to encourage their participation in the programme’s activities.

Farah is a young Tunisian with a background in design, communication, and social economy management, has joined our communication team to enhance the visibility of our actions and engage more in topics that are close to her heart, both personally and professionally.

“As a citizen of the Mediterranean, I wanted to join a programme that actively addresses issues that concern me to amplify my commitment. Working in a multicultural and multidisciplinary environment to build a better future for Europe and the Mediterranean is, for me, a true motivation and a major goal.”
