The YMCA Thessaloniki takes pride in having partaken successfully in several European projects thus far (such as Interreg and Erasmus+) and is keen on partnering with other bodies to form a consortium for EUROMED as an organization from Greece.
The YMCA Thessaloniki core values are caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. The YMCA Thessaloniki is devoted to empower young people to reach their fullest potential. Additionally, the YMCA Thessaloniki provides ample opportunities to better one’s mind, body and spirit. There are multiple projects running simultaneously, and on multiple levels. There are camps for young people, the Youth Leadership Training Program for teenagers, social actions to help immigrants and refugees in the region, as well as a dedication to amateur sports. The YMCA Thessaloniki brought many sports to Greece, namely basketball and volleyball.
We are flexible in terms of the scope of the proposal, and can offer expertise as it pertain to mountains, due to our Nymfaio Training Camp Center. Our team includes individuals with experience in project management, community engagement, and environmental education, which we hope could be valuable to the 5th Call.
